En: Video as a time based media with a visual reference can be used as a research tool in various forms. One is to construct an archive of resources as an outcome of a historical question with testimonies and offer this to a bigger public. Another one is a private archive on a research question to sharpen and improve your work, share with your peers, or defend your research in a phd.

Ein Beispiel ist der Aufbau von öffentlichen Archiven mit historischen Quellen, wie zum Beispiel Zeitzeug*inneninterviews. Ebenso der Aufbau eines privaten Archivs, das zur Evaluierung und Schärfung der eigenen Forschungsfragen genutzt werden kann.
Since video is my working tool rather than writing I share as an example for a way of publishing my research notes I did along the working process with tanzcompagnie rubato. I could call it „Following my line of thoughts„
and I worked on the motionbank apps mosys and piecemaker as a publishing tool. The diary is mixed language, german and english like the working process.
For me it is one way to publish a research process, not a final result.
